In news paper today, has started reporting many companies exercising retrenchment.. I'm praying that my company don't have to do so... as we are a small scale company... One of my friend has been layed off last two days... given the notice in the morning, then he packed all his things and went home.. luckily the company will give him compassionate salary for three months. so he'll have some time to find another job.. oh, his company is US based... what I heard before, Intel will cut down their workers in Penang & Phillippines.. Even HP is downsizing worldwide... Let's pray so that our local companies can survive the coming economic turbulent...
